During my recent visit to Mombasa, I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheratton Regency Hotel located along Moi Avenue. From the moment I stepped into this beautiful hotel, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for a memorable week. My stay was seamless, making it the perfect escape for both relaxation and business.
The reception area was a welcoming oasis, and I felt at ease as I checked in. A special shoutout goes to Julia Maina, the receptionist, whose exceptional service made everything easy and enjoyable. She was not only polite and welcoming but also incredibly professional—truly the epitome of customer service!
The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, ideal for unwinding after a day of adventures. While I initially faced minor setbacks with missing amenities like the remote controls, the staff was quick to assist and resolved my concerns promptly. It’s this level of responsiveness that makes Sheratton stand out among Mombasa hotels.
Each morning, I looked forward to the hotel's breakfast, which was nothing short of delightful. With fresh offerings and a variety of delicious dishes, it was an energizing way to start my day. It was especially wonderful to see the breakfast team consistently serving with smiles and friendliness. Their hard work didn't go unnoticed!
As a business traveler, I was impressed with the hotel's conference facilities, which were well-equipped for meetings. Whether you are looking to organize a small gathering or a larger conference, the ambiance and facilities available are top-notch. 
My stay was enriched by the lovely atmosphere and the overall quality of service provided by the staff. Each interaction I had, from reception to cleaning staff, was marked by their professionalism and genuine care. It’s evident that they value their guests and strive to make each visit memorable.
One improvement I would recommend is to consider soundproofing the rooms due to noise from the club located on the first floor. While it didn’t detract significantly from my overall experience, peace and quiet can enhance a guest's stay, especially for those on business trips.
If you’re planning a trip to Mombasa, whether for business or leisure, do yourself a favor and choose Sheratton Regency Hotel. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Its stunning location near the Mombasa town rail terminal and the friendly ambiance elevate it above the rest. You will be thanking me later!
